5 steps to mental wellbeing
Evidence suggests there are 5 steps we can all take to improve our mental wellbeing. If you give them a try, you may feel happier and more positive.
Training, workshops and one-off sessions can be a useful way of kick-starting people’s awareness about mental health, but it’s important to keep the conversations going afterwards. This is an example of a document Unilever produced for their employees who attended a workshop, with ideas and suggestions for activities through the year.
It offers advice on managing your own mental health in order to set a good example, talking about wellbeing in a supportive environment, and embedding wellbeing ‘rituals’ into the normal work day.
You can use this as a template when creating your own follow-up plan after mental health training in your own organisation.
