Web page

Creating a supportive, open culture around mental health at your workplace isn’t a short-term project. It’s something you need to continue working on, revising, and improving.

This webinar from the CIPD explores what you can do to ensure you and your organisation are ‘in it for the long haul’ – committed to improving mental health at your workplace, even when it gets challenging.

In this video, experts provide practical guidance around maintaining resilience, and suggest how employers and people professionals can support employees who are struggling with stress and poor mental health. They also offer advice on supporting employees’ physical wellbeing in the long term, and how to manage long-term sickness absence in a supportive way and provide effective assistance for return to work and beyond.

The panel of experts includes:

  • Rachel Suff, Senior Policy Adviser, Employment relations, CIPD
  • Professor Neil Greenberg, Professor of Defence Mental Health, King’s College London
  • Dr Jo Yanker, Director, Affinity Health at Work

Chaired by Katie Jacobs, Senior Stakeholder Lead, CIPD.

The video is one hour long. You can also download the slides from the Webinar on the linked web page.
