The Burnt Chef Support Service is a free text based service available 24/7 to anyone involved in hospitality who wishes to talk about their mental health.

It supports people experiencing any type of personal mental health concern, for example if you feel anxious, stressed, isolated, lonely or grieving. Sexual, physical or emotional abuse, concerns about your sexual identity, or workplace bullying may also be reasons you might want to text in.

The trained volunteers who respond to your texts can provide empathetic support and techniques to handle future problems, as well as directing you towards longer-term support and/or therapy for your particular concerns. It’s not a one way process: you won’t be told what to do.

Volunteers will aim to respond to you within 5 minutes.

To use this service text BURNTCHEF to 85258.
