CITB grants for short training courses

Organisation: CITB

Web page

Construction employers who are registered with CITB can claim grants to pay for short training courses, including mental health training. This page has all the information.

It’s a good idea to look into training for some or all of your staff, as part of your wider approach to mental health – but most courses cost money. However, if you’re a levy-registered employer with CITB (even if you don’t pay a levy due to your organisation’s size), you might be able to claim a grant for the costs of training. They’re available for approved courses that last between 3 hours and 29 days. Mental health awareness and mental health first aid training are both included.

There have been some changes to the system recently, but this page has all the information you need. It also includes videos outlining the process of applying.
