How to be mentally healthy at work (SAMH edition)
This booklet can be the starting point for employees who are beginning to feel unwell to help get more information on mental health in the workplace.
Healthy Working Lives have produced ‘Work Positive’ to enable employers to carry out a stress risk assessment in their organisation. Work positive is a free online survey, which you can sign up to through this page. Work Positive enables you to send out an anonymous survey to your employees and view the results. You can also compare your results to other organisations of a similar size and address any issues by creating a plan of action. The tool is aligned closely to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Management Standards.
It’s simple to register for Work Positive. From the link on this page, you just need to complete a straightforward form, and a Healthy Working Lives adviser will contact you with a username and password to access the survey manager.
Healthy Working Lives is a free and confidential NHS service in Scotland.
