How to run anti-stigma activity
Whether you have a minute, an hour or longer, there's always something you can do to challenge stigma about mental health. This guide is full of quick and easy examples.
World Mental Health Day, which falls on 10th October, is an opportunity to raise awareness of mental health issues and advocate against social stigma.
The day is a great opportunity to engage your organisation in the work you are already doing to address mental health stigma in the workplace and to introduce new and targeted activities anchored to the event.
This PDF guide, created by Time to Change, contains 15 activities for organisations to help them become better at responding to mental wellbeing issues at work. It also includes materials to help you promote the events, and links to national support services. This year, it has a special focus on suicide prevention.
