Ten steps towards school staff wellbeing
Organisation: Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families
The contexts in which teachers are working in can be challenging. Schools are often operating in a climate of limited resource; the hours can be long and the workload and the pressure great – which is why it is so important to take the wellbeing of school staff seriously.
This resource is based on the views of school staff who participated in a ‘Schools in Mind’ learning network and those who responded to the ‘Teacher Tapp’ survey. It provides helpful materials and encourages schools to give staff wellbeing the consideration it deserves. Throughout the resource there are key findings and insights from the consultation and lots of case studies from a diverse range of schools.
