Randomised coffee trials

Web page

Randomised coffee trials are the simple idea of connecting pairs of people in an organisation at random, and giving them time to talk about anything they like. It’s a great way to encourage new ideas and collaborations and improve organisational culture – and is a free and easy way to make a difference to employee wellbeing.

They originally started at Nesta and have been adopted by a huge range of organisations. This article, part of David Gurteen’s online book on conversational leadership, describes the idea and its benefits, and gives you tips for how to get started.
