Our NHS People website

Website

NHS staff have shown an incredible commitment to the fight against COVID-19. However, it certainly hasn’t been easy. The increased pressures, new ways of working and concern for yourself, family and friends has an impact on your mental wellbeing, and might have left you feeling anxious, depressed, or stressed out.

With all of that in mind, Our NHS People has created this website to help healthcare workers to take steps to maintain their physical and mental health, and overall wellbeing. This includes a free wellbeing support helpline, a 24/7 text alternative, team and personal resilience support, and free mindfulness apps. If you’re unsure what type of support suits you best, the ‘pathways’ tab can help you to find exactly what you need, depending on your situation and your role.

There are also over 20 online guides available covering many different aspects of health and wellbeing. Mental Health at work has listed many of these guides as individual resources – if you’d like to browse all of them, you can click here.

You can choose to make an account on the Our NHS People site, even if you do not work for the NHS. This allows you to track your progress through the guides, and lets you return to the place you left off if you have to stop part way through a section. Click here to create an account or log in. However, you do not need to make an account to access it if you’d prefer not to.
