Wiltshire Mind provides mental health training for organisations, businesses and schools across Wiltshire. They can offer workplace training for managers and staff, and also for those customer-facing members of staff who might be dealing with the public who may have mental health issues.
Mental health awareness training: a morning or afternoon session helping you to understand the most common mental health issues, spot the signs, support colleagues and know what other help is available locally.
Stress/anxiety and mindfulness sessions: a three hour session, including two hours on stress/anxiety and one hour on mindfulness.
Mental Health First Aid: an officially accredited in-depth course over two days.
The training is flexible: it can be tailored to suit each individual company’s needs and incorporate any key messages for staff, policies or procedures. They are also happy to deliver training organisation-wide, which occasionally means working in other parts of the UK.
Acas has a range of training courses designed to help organisations to navigate the legal, practical and personal elements of managing mental health in the workplace. They're offered in many locations across England and Wales.
