Ambulance workforce wellbeing pages
The ambulance service and its workforce face unique challenges when it comes to mental health. This website provides specific resources for employers to help improve their culture.
Emergency responders work in extremely challenging environments, so it’s essential they can access the support they need. This course, provided by mental health charity Mind, has been designed specifically for blue light personnel.
The half-day session is designed for anyone in the emergency services who has a line manager, team leader or pastoral role. It explores awareness of the signs of mental ill health, starting mental health conversations and creating a mentally healthy workplace.
On this page, you can learn more about the training on offer and contact Mind to book a course for your workplace.
Mind provides advice and support on mental health, and campaigns to improve understanding, across England and Wales.
