Lifelines Scotland is a project designed to help first responders to stay well, beat stress and boost your resilience.
Those working in the emergency services are on the front line of the COVID-19 response, and are needed for keeping essential services running. However, the pandemic might be causing you additional difficulties – you might be short-staffed due to illness or self-isolation, you might be using new equipment to keep you safe, or you might feel overwhelmed by the additional work the crisis has caused you.
Lifelines Scotland is a project designed to help first responders to stay well, beat stress and boost your resilience. The site includes free online courses to help you understand your own mental health and tips on maintaining your wellbeing. It also includes a detailed page about resilience, including a short film about a mountain rescue to highlight how your resilience levels are affected in an emergency situation.
It also has a dedicated page about COVID-19, which explains services that Lifelines Scotland is offering in response, and can signpost you to further help if needed.
