Leading a school during the pandemic

Organisations: Twinkl Mind

Web page

As staff are back in school following the closures during the coronavirus pandemic, it’s natural to have concerns and worries. Whether your school is partially or fully open, the school experience will have transformed – and with that come new questions, fears and practical issues to deal with. Twinkl and Mind have created a range of resources that can help.

The page includes:

  • Leaflets showing you ways to manage feelings of stress and focus on your wellbeing,
  • A template for any member of staff to record a concern they might have, and make sure there is an action plan in place to resolve it, and
  • Ideas for how staff can be emotionally present for each other, despite needing to be physically distanced.

There are also regular new blogs about teachers’ experiences, and more resources being added all the time.
