Coronavirus and your wellbeing
This short guide from Mind explores some of the worries and difficulties you might experience due to the coronavirus pandemic, and some ways to ensure your mental health is protected.
During the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, looking after your mental and physical health at work has never been more important. Many of us may be feeling concerned or anxious, having less control over how we work and live our lives. However, there are things you can do to support your own — and other people’s — mental health and wellbeing.
Acas have put together some videos to help you look after yourself during the crisis. This one is aimed at everyone, so is ideal to watch yourself and share with your colleagues.
It offers advice on:
• reflecting on what what makes you feel more positive
• keeping in touch with people regularly, including your manager
• getting support if you need to, in a way that works for you
• having a routine and structure your day with activities you enjoy
• looking out for and support other people
