Eating disorders (EDs) are a range of mental health conditions including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorders, and more. Since food is such an important part of our lives, the impact of an eating disorder can affect someone physically, psychologically and socially.

This web page is designed to help employers to understand eating disorders, and offers advice on supporting someone in the workplace if they may have an ED. It includes tips on noticing the signs of EDs, information about the differences between the disorders, and links to further sources of support if required.

It also includes some advice for concerned colleagues, so you might like to consider making this guide available for everyone in your organisation.
