Death, bereavement and grief

Bereavement is sadly something that can affect any of your employees at any time. Over the course of the past few months, the COVID-19 pandemic has meant many people have lost loved ones unexpectedly, and this can have an impact on their mental wellbeing.

Business in the Community (BITC) have created a webinar which explores the impact of bereavement on employees, and explains what organisations can do to help. It features four panelists – Louise Aston, Wellbeing Director at the BITC, Neil Greenberg, Professor of Defence Mental Health at King’s College London, Isabell Haighm Head of Plant Operations at the National Grid, and Anna Perchas, Partner and Head of People at KPMG.

They discuss their personal experiences of death, starting difficult conversations, and managing with kindness and compassion, over the course of a one-hour video.

To access the webinar, you will need to provide your name and email address. Then, you are directed to the video which can be watched online.
