About this website

Whether you work with 10 people, 10,000 people or just yourself, paying attention to mental health in the workplace has never been more important. Mental Health at Work is here to help you find the information and resources you need.

Resources

Think of this place as your first stop to find documents, guides, tips, videos, courses, podcasts, templates and information from key organisations across the UK, all aimed at helping you get to grips with workplace mental health.

Find resources in whatever way works for you:

  • Jump straight in and browse the complete list, using the filters there to narrow it down according to your situation and what you’re looking for
  • Use the Start finding resources tool on the front page to help steer you in the right direction
  • Try the search box at the top of every page

If your organisation has a resource that you think belongs on Mental Health at Work, get in touch.

Toolkits

These are our pre-packaged suggestions for sets of resources that go well together to help you focus on a particular area of workplace mental health. You can browse the list of toolkits directly, and we’ll also recommend them to you now and then throughout the site.

Your account

Screenshot of the My Resources section from the Mental Health at Work websiteMental Health at Work is free to use for anyone, without registering or signing up to anything.

If you choose to register for an account with us, you’ll be able to mark which resources you’ve seen, and save ones to return to, in your own personal dashboard. You can also have your choices remembered—things like what industry you work in, or the size of your organisation—so the results are tailored for you automatically next time.

Thumbs up…

You’ll often see resources listed in order of popularity: that is, how many people clicked the Thumbs-up icon or Thumbs-down icon icon. If you register and login, you can click those too. And we hope you will, as it’s really useful for other users. Whenever you click to say you didn’t like something, the site will ask you why—and that will come directly to the staff team so we can fix what’s wrong.

Blogs

Mental Health at Work is all about finding resources. But to provide some extra context and to keep the conversation going, we’ll be publishing regular blogs featuring behind-the-scenes glimpses, news, announcements, and thoughts from the people behind the resources here. If you’ve produced a resource that’s on our site and would be interested in writing a piece about it, get in touch.

We don’t generally publish blogs that have been written on spec or sent unsolicited.
