The Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) is a British independent not-for-profit company.

It is owned by rail industry stakeholders, including Network Rail, infrastructure managers, train operating companies and rolling stock companies. By bringing the whole industry together, they can address issues of common concern and help organisations in the rail industry become safer and more sustainable for passengers, the workforce and the wider public, while reducing risk and cost.
