The NHS National Workforce Skills Development Unit has created this framework aimed at helping health and social care employers improve the mental wellbeing of their employees.
National Workforce Skills Development Unit
The National Workforce Development Unit (NWSDU) has been established to meet workforce challenges in healthcare. It has a national focus on workforce issues related to mental health and aspires to be a helpful resource to the system around workforce development for mental health and learning disabilities.
It was established in April 2017 by Health Education England (HEE) in collaboration with the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust.
