It’s likely that we’ll all encounter a colleague or staff member experiencing mental ill-health at some point. This guide has advice for senior school staff on how to recognise if a staff member is struggling and how best to support them.
Mentally Healthy Schools
Mentally Healthy Schools is a new website to help primary school staff support the mental health of their pupils. It contains a wide range of quality-assured resources and links, as well as pages of information and advice, for school management and practitioners. Like this site, it’s funded by the Royal Foundation as part of their Heads Together programme.
Mentally Healthy Schools has been produced by the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, Place2Be and YoungMinds, with expert guidance from Centre for Mental Health and advice and support from NAHT, the school leaders’ association.
